Requirements: As per the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency, Home Inspector Board , home inspectors require 32 Continuing Education hours for every two year renewal period which expires on September 30 of odd numbered years.

Licensed Classes: All classes are licensed in Indiana and Illinois for home inspector continuing education hours. All classes provide 4 CE hours for Indiana and 3 CE hours for Illinois (an in-class exam is required for each course to receive Illinois credits). Licensing in Kentucky is pending.

Instructor: Steve Preins, nationally known home inspection speaker and educator, is the course author and instructor for all classes unless otherwise noted. See more information on Steve [ here ].

Indiana live class sessions are 8:30am to 12:15pm and 1:00pm to 5:00pm, unless otherwise noted. Lunch is on your own. No refreshments are provided other than water on the tables. The fee for each course includes the course booklet and a certificate of completion. We do not report your credits or attendance to the State of Indiana - you will be required to provide this information when you renew your license. A discount will apply if registering for more than one 4 CE hour course. If multiple CE courses are purchased, you may select from any of our scheduled course times and locations (space permitting).

Class Fees will be as follows (purchasing multiple classes saves money!):

one live class for 4 CE Hours:

$75.00

two live classes for 8 CE Hours:

$127.50 (save 15% over single class price!)

three live classes for 12 CE Hours:

$191.25 (save 15%)

four live classes for 16 CE Hours:

$240.00 (save 20%)

five live classes for 20 CE Hours:

$300.00 (save 20%)

six live classes for 24 CE Hours:

$360.00 (save 20%)

seven live classes for 28 CE Hours:

$420.00 (save 20%)

eight live classes for 32 CE Hours:

$450.00 (save 25% - only $56.25 per class!)

Certificates of Completion: For inspectors licensed in both Indiana and Illinois, classes will provide 4 CE hours each for Indiana and 3 CE hours each for Illinois. We will provide separate certificates of completion for each state. Note: Indiana inspectors attending classes in Orland Park will not receive Illinois credits unless registered through our Illinois registration page. Above prices apply to Indiana credits only due to proctoring and reporting requirements in Illinois.
