Requirements: As per the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance, home inspectors require 32 Continuing Education hours in the 24 months prior to your license expiration date, which is every two years from the date of issuance.

Licensed Classes: All classes are licensed in Tennessee for Home Inspector Continuing Education and provide 4 CE hours per class. Licensing in Kentucky, Arkansas, Mississippi, and North Carolina is pending. For class descriptions click [ here ]. Continuing education is not required for Alabama, Georgia, or Virginia.

Class Fees are as follows (purchasing multiple classes saves money!):

one class for 4 CE Hours: $44.00

two classes for 8 CE hours total: $79.00 (save 10% over single class price)

three classes for 12 CE hours total: $119.00 (save 10%)

four classes for 16 CE hours total: $158.00 (save 10%)

five classes for 20 CE hours total: $187.00 (save 15%)

six classes for 24 CE hours total: $224.00 (save 15%)

seven classes for 28 CE hours total: $262.00 (save 15%)

eight classes for 32 CE hours total: $282.00 (save 20% - only $35 per class!)

Certificates of Completion: For inspectors licensed in both Tennessee and another state, classes will provide 4 CE hours for each class and for each state. We will provide separate certificates of completion for each state.
